Happy New Year!!!! 2023 is here. Time for New Beginnings. I hope you started this year well.
This year I want to be more consistent with posting on this website because this is something that I want to do. But because I started this website in the middle of the year it was hard to have a schedule. This year I want to build a community through this website.
This blog is basically about goals and their importance. Goal are dreams and aspirations of things you want to achieve. They can be simple goals like perfecting a new art style, and they can also be big goals like getting a PhD in neurology. But regardless, goals can be achieved if you work smart and hard to get to the end.
S.M.A.R.T Goals
What are smart goals. Well, here is an easy explanation:
SpecificSpecific, goals that are clear so that it is easier to commit to
Measurable, something that is successful.
Achievable, something that is possible; realistic
Relevant, something that relate to the things that you are already achieving
Time Bound, when you clearly have a time to achieve and reach your goals
These are the type of thing that can help you to create your goals. These are specifically helpful for students. Feel free to save the image above so you can have a reminder of your goals. Which brings me to my next point...
Why should I write my goals down?
Sometimes when we go shopping, we use a shopping list that is written down. But why? This is so we have a clear view of why we are going shopping. If we go to the shops and have no list, we will often intend to be unsure of what we need to get or forget to get the necessities. Why did I tell you this? This also how goals work as well. When you write you goals down and see them it is easier for you to stay on track.
If you are a visual person who likes creativity, another fun way to write down your goals is through a vision board.
Vision Boards
Vision boards are creative ways to set your goals. The perfect time to make one is at the beginning of the year. You just need to find or draw pictures of what your goals are. You can find so many things online and on Pinterest. As you can see this vision board mainly has positivity quotes and motivation. You can add that to your vision board as well. But remember vision boards are about your creativity and whatever makes you happy.
