Hello everyone!
I'm just giving my advice based on my life experiences. If you do not want to read this whole blog, go to the bottom for a quick summary.
Life is full of its twists and turns. We all experience a fair share of it. Nobody has it easy. But there are so many ways to be living and not just alive.
The little things we do each day for the happiness of ourselves, and others can change how you live your life. So, let's cross over from being miserable beings and live life to its fullest.
What makes you happy? It may be listening to your favourite music on a bright sunny day on the way to work/school or binge watching your favourite Netflix series on a late night. These are just two of things that can cause dopamine to spark in a human being. Find what makes YOU happy. Do these little things more often so that you have a balance in life. These habits cause you to feel more elevated.
One other thing that can help you to romanticize your life is listening to motivational speeches and podcasts that really push you to be the best version of yourself. When you listen to these on a regular basis your mindset changes and you start living your life with more morals and self-esteem.
Surround yourself with people who love you for you, but still tell you when something is wrong. I cannot say this enough. Many people think that the perfect friends are ones who always praise you but that’s not necessarily true or ideal. You may start living without a conscience because the people around you don't tell you what is wrong and what is, well, right.
Your bedroom is where you are most of the time. (At least that goes for me anyway) Make sure you have a room that really shows your personality. Have little photos of yourself in certain spaces. What is your favourite movie? Print a poster of it to frame on your wall. Make your bedsheets your favourite colour. Aside from this also make sure your room is clean and tidy. This helps you to have a clearer mindset.
I know not everyone will say this, so I will. Exercise. You will feel so much better once you know that you have made an effort to be healthier. Sure, this may be a habit you have to slowly build up and know what is best for your body, but it gives you motivation to keep going.
Finally, be yourself. Nothing more to say. Be your true self and then you will realize that you are enough. 💗

Make your living space scream *insert your name* (but also make sure it's clean).

Be yourself 😉
